WHY AM I RUNNING?
Working with so many dedicated Asha volunteers, schools and communities has truly been a privilege for me over the past few years. Having recently moved to Switzerland, it was really exciting to find the Swiss Asha community and be able to train and run for my first 10K.
WHY ASHA FOR EDUCATION?
Asha fundraises for socially and economically disadvantaged children and communities by raising awareness and funds for education and tuition. Many of the schools also provide support and raise awareness for nutrition, health, day to day life and social issues alongside schooling for children. I hope that together we can also support the wonderful work Asha Zurich has been doing!
